One person, with drops of water

Getting cold feet is a figure of speech for someone suddenly backing down and not doing something they actually intended.

Cold feet can actually be something very positive. Namely, if you get them as part of a Kneipp treatment.

At my home there is a water treading pool in a wooded area, which I have walked past rather carelessly for years.

Last year, however, I risked trying the tank for the first time – and was (and am) absolutely thrilled with the effect.

After a few laps through the cold water and then a short warm-up while walking around the pool, I had the feeling as if I could "pull out trees" (of course I would never do 😉 it).

Alternating baths, alternating showers and Kneipp treatments may sound a bit old-fashioned, but they leave a phenomenally good feeling in body, mind and soul.

And really get the energy going again. Just right for the daily flow exercises.

My tip: Be sure to try it out!

And if you don't have a treading pool in the forest on your doorstep: A small stream is even better. Or maybe there is a small lake with a shallow shore area near you?

And if all that doesn't work, even a fountain in the city where you can put your feet can work wonders! And of course, the already mentioned alternating showers at home always work.

Tip: If you are not quite comfortable with alternating showers, simply start by rinsing your calves with cold water after showering. This is already working wonders!

Here I have given you another Youtube video from Bayerischer Rundfunkt, where there is a lot of information about the effects of such Kneipp applications.
