In the Hawaiian Huna Philosophy there is a special form of breathing, the Piko Piko – breathing.

"Piko" (Hawaiian) means mountain peak, head peak or navel.

In the basic form of Piko Piko breathing, you breathe in and out, concentrating alternately on the tip of your head and your belly button.

So:

Inhale – concentrate on the tip of the head, exhale – concentrate on the belly button.

Both, the tip of the head and the belly button, are considered power points in the Huna philosophy.

Important: Consciously breathe in and out slowly during this exercise. If you have trouble concentrating on the two points, you can also place your palms on the dots (alternately).

This will make it easier for you to maintain concentration.

By alternating concentration on these two power points of the body, you stimulate the flow of energy in your body. Because the energy follows the attention.

The exercise helps you to become calmer and more composed inside, you can relax better, come back more into the here and now and your thoughts can calm down so that you are more focused.

Short:

The exercise will help you get back into the flow!

By the way, the Piko Piko breathing is also well suited as a short relaxation and centering exercise before you do other daily flow exercises.

P.: There are a number of variations of this exercise, some of which also involve nature in the exercise. They are therefore particularly suitable when you are out and about in nature. For these variants, there is therefore a special Daily Flow exercise, in which I describe the different variants in more detail.
