Reading is not only entertaining and interesting, it also calms the mind and contributes to relaxation.

One Study of the University of Sussex even concludes that reading a good book can reduce stress levels by up to 68%! And in the study, just a few minutes were enough for the test subjects to read.

The scientists' statement:

The brain has to concentrate on reading the text and can therefore no longer deal with the stressful thoughts. A good book that stimulates the imagination and creates stories and images in your head while reading is the ultimate relaxation, according to the scientists.
